I’m still not sure about this idea because you’re literally using half the screen when it’s not folded and it can have a catastrophic effect if you drop it.

Haters Of All Brands, 16 hours agoNo crease??? Wowwwnice because it bends outward to have more leverage where it bends, but then your screen isn’t protected

Aierlan, 7 hours agoYeah, that’s probably true. I was only talking about China. I think without GMS Huaw… moreI use Mate 40 Pro on the first day, and I don’t think the camera is less powerful, and the 5G speed on the phone is legit. not having too much trouble using it outside of China too, I’m doing just fine without Google.
Anonymous, 12 hours agoI don’t buy a foldable with less than 7000mh battery why they can’t just install… morethey did, that’s why you get 66w fast charging. adding more battery will make it heavier and bigger so they didn’t want that. I would prefer 255g and this size over 2000 more battery power.

Surely there must be a way to start a $300 foldable phone. I’ve had designs for such for about 14 years. From the size of a mini phone to a larger size that unfolds into an 8-9 inch tablet. But now we can use wireless charging and a weatherproof design, and even portless with an external attachment. No matter the chipset, many are fast today. But hey, a gaming version with valve and NVIDIA streaming and a big CPU sounds good too. The kind of thing a certain big phone company should be doing. I also know what to do with this heat.
Now cheaper. Nice.
CptPower, 11 hours agoMan 5G or not most regions of the planet work in 4G some countries like Somalia or Etiopia some…moreYeah, that’s probably true. I was only talking about China. I think without GMS, Huawei’s sales are mostly limited to China. The problem here is that they have slowed down 4g networks since 5g arrived, so basically if you don’t have a 5g phone your internet speed will be crippled. In addition to the lack of 5g, the restrictions placed on them also affect their supply for many components using American technology. They don’t even seem to be able to source the same level of camera gear as before, so it’s hard for them to compete with brands that don’t have such restrictions.
Anonymous, 12 hours agoI don’t buy a foldable with less than 7000mh battery why they can’t just install… moreBecause apart from a few eccentrics, no one wants to carry around a 400g phone.
Joe nodden, 13 hours agoJesus Christ. A Snapdragon 888 in a $1,512 phone? It’s so pathetic. The S888 blasts the gen 1 snapdragon, because the s888 has brutal horsepower and torque and a much larger die, and also needs 12 watts of power, it’s a powerful processor, just like the Arm A15 cores which no phone maker used because it needed 14warts off current voltage too run. I always carry a super slim 5000mah powerbank so don’t give the rats the battery drain.
Stylish Trendy Contemporary
No rounded edges
Much better than the nasty hideous Samsung zFold3, with ugly curves
I will definitely buy this

Aierlan, 14 hours agoIn China, where it launched, the Samsung z fold 3 currently costs 14,799 RMB. It’s 9,999 rmb… moreMan 5G or not most parts of the planet are running on 4G some countries like Somalia or Etiopia some parts of Chille North Korea maybe Cuba and eastern Russia I mean part close to US borders barely have stable 3G.
Anonymous, 14 hours agoContinue to dream. Honor already fills the void. Unless Harmony OS explodes globally… moreFew people will buy it outside China, but it will quickly sell out inside China.
I’m not buying a foldable with less than 7000mh battery, why can’t they just fit one on each side? especially with this snapdragon draining the battery so much, it’s not even enough for 1 day
This is ideal for the latest large camera sensors, also for its weight, unlike most competitors.
Unfortunately, it falls far short of the 10x zoom of the x2 or the vivo x fold 5x for its price.
Nothing close to the vivo fold yet.

sd 888 + 4g + harmony = lol

CptPower, 16 hours agoWell, it’s a lot more expensive than Samsung and other brands, but it also looks a lot better. In China, where it launched, the Samsung z fold 3 currently costs 14,799 RMB. It’s 9,999 RMB. That’s a huge difference, but it’s still expensive considering there’s no 5g. A non-5g phone is very hard to sell in China
